Magic Cast On

What I wish someone had properly explained in dozens of patterns I’ve looked at: the toe up cast on for socks.  I looked about, and this is what I found.  If you use double pointed needles, there are some pictures with instructions on how to do it at the bottom.  I’m a circular needle girl all the way, so not so much.  Now that I am armed with this, I can finally make some awesome knee high socks.
